UNESCO delegation in Egypt to review Luxor renovation
Culture Minister Farouk Hosni received Saturday a UNESCO delegation currently on a visit to Egypt to inspect the development and renovation of the ancient city of Luxor.
The renovations include the outer courtyard of Karnak Temple. The renovations have transformed the place into orderly vicinity directly overlooking the Luxor Temple.
The development works include the Kebash road linking Luxor Temple and Karnak and plans for setting up an international tourist marina.
They further include the Luxor's riverfront road and modernization of the ambulance service and river speedboats.
The Culture Minister further said the UNESCO delegation reviewed the planned hyper mall and business center in the Cairo's citadel area.
